These are not slogans; they are constraints. They decide what we build, what we refuse to build, and what we are willing to claim.
On-device first
Intelligence runs on your hardware. Speech recognition, sound recognition and speaker grouping all happen locally, which means your conversations aren't sent anywhere, the software works without a connection, and there is no per-user cloud bill to pass on to you later.
We describe this as a property of the architecture, not as a certified guarantee. Our products process everything on the device; we don't claim an independent audit we haven't had.
Accessible by design
We design for the people most often left out, and the rest of us benefit. Captions that keep the speaker's own language, alerts you can feel without looking at a screen, and interfaces that work with system text sizes and reduced motion.
Honest about limits
Software that is confidently wrong is worse than software that admits doubt. We would rather name a sound only when we're sure, describe it plainly when we aren't, and mark a doubtful caption as unclear.
The same discipline applies to how we talk about our work. Statuses on this site are the real ones. A product that is approved but not yet released says exactly that; a feature still being built is never described as available.
Built to last
Open, proven, on-device technology with no rented intelligence behind it means a product can keep serving people for years, whatever happens to someone else's pricing. We credit the open work our products build on.
How the work gets done
Product decisions, architecture, domain logic and validation on real devices are ours. Code implementation is AI-generated under direction, then reviewed and corrected. It lets a small studio hold a high standard across several products, and we are direct about it rather than implying a larger team.
