BTC Media Labs LLC is a New York software studio. We build privacy-respecting products that run on your own device, starting with accessibility and growing into a small family of tools for everyday life.
How we got here
The studio began as a side of an advisory practice: a place to build the tools that kept being needed and not existing. It worked that way from 2023 and was incorporated as BTC Media Labs LLC in New York in August 2026.
The pattern we keep finding is the same one: capable technology exists, but the people who would benefit most are handed something that guesses, demands an account, and quietly ships their life to a server. EverHeard, our flagship, came from exactly that observation about captioning. Myth MacroMKR came from it in a game. ResumeCraft AI comes from it in people's careers.
We are a for-profit company, and deliberately so: the work that earns pays for the work that shouldn't have a price. How that balance works is set out in our approach.
How we build
Product design, architecture, domain logic and real-device validation are owned by our founder. Code implementation is AI-generated under his direction, then reviewed, corrected and integrated. We say so plainly, because it is how the work is actually done, and because the honesty matters more than the mystique.
It also shapes what we choose to build: small, focused products where one person with good tools and clear judgement can reach a standard that used to need a department.

An accomplished executive consultant with 20+ years transforming complex business landscapes, delivering measurable gains across P&L and key business metrics through cost reduction and operational optimisation. A versatile business and solution architect across governance, business modelling, analytics, IT enablement and digital integration, he has led large-scale international programmes for major organisations.
Our sister company
Business Transformation Consulting is a global advisory firm, founded in 2014 and run by the same founder. The two companies are independent of each other: the consultancy advises senior management on strategy and transformation, while the studio builds products. BTC Media Labs looks after the consultancy's technology and website.

We're talking with investors, funders, research institutions and accessibility organisations who share the goal of making everyday technology work for the people it most often leaves out — and we build for organisations on commercial terms, where what they need is something we know how to make well.
We should be straight about the shape of the company: today our strength is technology and research rather than revenue. If you are looking for a studio that ships careful, durable software and is honest about what it has and hasn't proven, we should talk. If you are looking for rapid growth numbers, we are not that, yet.
