BTC Media Labs LLC is a New York software studio. We build privacy-respecting products that run on your own device, starting with accessibility and growing into a small family of tools for everyday life.
How we got here
The studio began as a side of an advisory practice: a place to build the tools that kept being needed and not existing. It worked that way from 2023 and was incorporated as BTC Media Labs LLC in New York in August 2026.
Our flagship, EverHeard, came from a simple observation. Captioning technology has become remarkably good, and yet the people who most need it are still handed tools that guess, that require an account, and that send their conversations to somebody's server. We thought that could be done properly, on the device, and honestly about its own limits.
How we build
Product design, architecture, domain logic and real-device validation are owned by our founder. Code implementation is AI-generated under his direction, then reviewed, corrected and integrated. We say so plainly, because it is how the work is actually done, and because the honesty matters more than the mystique.
It also shapes what we choose to build: small, focused products where one person with good tools and clear judgement can reach a standard that used to need a department.

A versatile business and solution architect across governance, business modelling, analytics, IT enablement and digital integration, he has led large-scale international programmes for major organisations.
Our sister company
Business Transformation Consulting is a global advisory firm, founded in 2014 and run by the same founder. The two companies are independent of each other: the consultancy advises senior management on strategy and transformation, while the studio builds products. BTC Media Labs looks after the consultancy's technology and website.
